With a smile, a laugh, a good word, we provide cheer, joy, comfort to hospital patients.
FISAT volunteers, some dressed as clowns, go bed-to-bed interacting with patients and their care takers. They do magic tricks and balloon sculptures to bring a smile on each patient's face. Each receives the gift of a balloon and a motivational publication.
The word is going around that the children can have a good time learning English! We have more and more parents inquiring about our work.
At each of the hospitals we visited we had the privilege to talk and encourage some patients who are in a difficult times in their lives, either they have serious health problems or they are depressed. A grandmother was very impressed with our work; she said she would like for her grandson to come and help us.
