Wednesday evening Danshui English Conversation Corner
March 2nd:
Topic: Music Time! ¬ And Trust!
Tonight we sung a few songs together about love and kindness. We then discussed the songs together, and talked about how they made us feel. We also read about the importance of trusting, and not letting the difficulties that we face each day cause us to lose hope or despair. After reading the articles, we then shared what they meant to us personally. Some of the students sang a few songs to end the evening.
March 23rd:
Topic: Movie with Meaning: Facing the Giants
Tonight we spent our evening watching a sports movie. This movie was very meaningful, as it impressed us all very much. It showed us the importance of working as a team, and the aspect of putting others before ourselves. After watching this movie, we all talked about what it meant to us personally. We not only learned a lot from this movie, but also enjoyed this time together very much.
March 30th:
Topic: The Exercise Boost
There are many benefits of exercise. Although most people agree with this fact, a lot of people have a hard time making the time to do it. Tonight we not only read about the importance of exercise, but we each talked about practical steps that we can each take in order to improve this important area of our lives. We finished the evening with a few simple songs about happiness.
