Wednesday evening Danshui English Conversation Corner
January 12th and January 19th : 2011 English Corner Planning We spent these evenings planning and preparing for 2011. We updated our flyer, as well as planned our programs and general themes for this coming year. It was a good time to re-asses how we have been operating, as we looked for new ways to reach more people and be more successful this coming year.
January 26th: Chinese New Year Dinner! In order to celebrate the Chinese New Year holiday, we took some time to eat a wonderful meal together in one of our volunteer’s homes. We invited a few students who hadn’t gone home for the Chinese New Yet, as many students go home early to be with their families. We spent an evening together with some friends and teachers enjoying dinner and talking about the many wonderful things that happened this past year.
