FISAT Book sponsorship project – 2011
HWA LIEN LOW INCOME INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL RECIEVES SPONSORED EDUCATIONAL BOOKS BY FISAT
Jeff, from FISAT, was part of a collaborative English teaching team who put on an exciting English camp free of charge to this appreciative Intermediate school which would not have otherwise been able to host it.
5 staff members from TOP English Camps and 4 TFI volunteers put on a fast moving and energetic 2 day camp for these lovely young people.
At the end, Jeff presented a stack of beautiful educational books as prizes for the students who were judged the best participants.
Jeff explains, “At the closing ceremony we were able to give a present of 25 sponsored educational books by FISAT and various other teaching aids to the top students of this camp. The camp was a great success. We will remember the happy faces and warm smiles of the students who sent us off, telling us the vibrant and upbeat English Camp was a success. With our goals reached - English taught and learned a beautiful exchange of generosity and appreciation with the students and staff of this mostly Native Aborigine school – we went away with a sense that every one involved were winners."
