Bilingual book sponsorship for the children of the Bunan aboriginal communities
FISAT is committed to regularly assisting the mountainous aboriginal communities in Taiwan through various aid distribution and sponsorship programs.
In December 2008, a team of three adult FISAT volunteers, and two of their children, conducted a two-day field trip to the Bunan aboriginal communities in Nantou County. In the Dong Pu village area, they were able to distribute $5,000 USD worth of sponsored educational books (with accompanying audio CD) in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
